About Us...
Cheryl Matheny is the owner of Back to Basics Embroidery™ and started business in 2003 with 2 single head embroidery machines. The company has grown from those 2 machines to multiple 6 head Tajima Embroidery machines with over 800 accounts (some of our Jobs).
In 2007 it was decided it was time to expand by adding the ability of Digitally printing on garments. This helps many customers save on full color or spot color printing orders by eliminating set-up fees, film and screen fees. This unique process creates a more cost effective and detailed product then traditional screen printing.
2009 came and the economy was crashing down around us all and daily businesses where closing. Back to Basics Embroidery™ looked at that as an opportunity to grow again. They added an Epilog laser to offer engraving and create one of a kind custom Laser Art. They also added a unique printing process that allows printing completely around a round item. 2010 The Birth of LaserArtOnline and Marble-Graphics is a new area for Back to Basics Embroidery™ to venture into. LaserArtOnline is all custom made items from wood and other materials. When you are looking for the gift that no one has this is the area to shop, most of the models are our own design and our goal by mid 2011 is that we only sell our designs. Marble-Graphics is another unique process that allows us to put a picture engraved into the marble and will not rub of as it is cut so it gives the appearance of an old black and white photo. We specialize in memorial plaques for your loved ones whether they be human or your pets. We look forward to another great year serving you. |
